The project is a collaboration between TU Dublin Conservatoire, one of the largest music institutions in Ireland, and the TouchTheSound project.

As a guitar lecturer at TU Dublin, I am devising a series of research projects aimed at innovating guitar education in Ireland. The collaboration with the ‘TouchTheSound’ project focuses on fostering creativity through interactions with exceptional musical instruments. Over the past four years, we worked with renowned guitar maker Gabriele Lodi to craft custom-made guitars for our students, generously provided to our part-time students on loan.

As part of the project, we are developing a teaching methodology that use implicit learning through hands-on exploration of these instruments.
